Project brief
Creekside MOB is a two-story medical office building at 26424 Strake Drive, inside Creekside Park Village Center on the southwest side of The Woodlands, Texas. It has 33,845 square feet, with roughly 16,600 leasable square feet on each floor, and can serve a single tenant or several. Howard Hughes developed the project through The Woodlands Development Company, and PGAL designed it.
The building follows the Craftsman style of the adjacent Village Green, a retail center anchored by H-E-B and Walgreens. Its design uses natural materials and exposed steel, and the architect lists it as LEED Gold certified. It was the first medical office in Creekside Park, one of the community's ten villages, and sits among shops, restaurants and apartment buildings. Construction began in early 2022 and was finished in spring 2023. In February 2024, Howard Hughes sold the building as a shell to Houston Methodist, which is completing the interior for providers in primary care, orthopedics and other specialties and said in 2024 that the clinic would open in 2025.
In 2021, before construction started, BOGZA produced exterior renderings of the project. They include a daytime aerial view showing the building, its parking and the tree canopy that surrounds the site.
