Project brief

Goodman Logistics Center Fontana III is a three-building logistics campus in southeast Fontana, California, with about 1.1 million square feet of warehousing and supporting office space on roughly 47.5 acres. The site lies south of Santa Ana Avenue, north of Jurupa Avenue, east of Cypress Avenue and west of Juniper Avenue, anchored at the northwest corner of Jurupa and Juniper. Goodman is the developer, and HPA Architecture is the architect.

The land was previously zoned for a residential planned community and held mostly single-family houses, so the project required a General Plan amendment and zone change to convert it to industrial use. The campus was planned for tenants from about 212,420 to 453,020 square feet, with direct access to Interstate 10 and Ontario Airport about nine miles away. Building Six, at 11250 Juniper Avenue, has 212,420 square feet on 9.86 acres, 36-foot clear height, 32 dock doors and a 178-foot truck court. Construction began in December 2020, and one building has operated since October 2021. The campus is still being built, with Building Six marketed for occupancy in 2027. For the two remaining buildings, the developer proposed added measures, including a truck routing plan, more signage, larger trees and cleaner on-site vehicles.

In 2019, BOGZA produced exterior renderings and animation for the project. The visuals include an aerial view that places the new buildings among the surrounding neighborhoods and the region's warehouse district.
